Operation Process of Agency Import
I. Review Stage
Review the variety, characteristics, etc. of the goods imported by the customer, determine the HS customs code of the goods and what regulatory conditions are under this code. After determining the product regulatory conditions, check whether it can be operated.
II. Contract Signing Stage
For special commodities, it is also necessary to provide (certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, health certificate, Chinese label and other filing materials)

III. Foreign Exchange Purchase and Payment Stage
There are three commonly used international payment methods, namely, letter of credit payment method, TT payment method and direct payment method.
Letter of credit payment method: The date of issuance of the letter of credit should be clear, distinct and complete. Several state-owned commercial banks in China, such as the Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, etc., can issue letters of credit abroad.
IV. Stock Preparation Stage
Stock preparation plays a crucial role in the entire trade process and must be implemented one by one according to the contract. The main checking contents of stock preparation are as follows:
Verify the quality and specifications of the goods according to the requirements of the contract.
Quantity of goods: Ensure to meet the quantity requirements of the contract or letter of credit.
Stock preparation time: It should be arranged in combination with the shipping schedule according to the provisions of the letter of credit and the contract to facilitate the connection between the goods and the ship. Picture
V. Contract Execution Stage
After the exporter ships the goods, track it in a timely manner, keep in touch with the principal, and obtain the information of the shipowner or shipping agent, airline or air freight agent designated by the other party as soon as possible.
Request the original documents such as the document exchange materials, customs clearance bill of lading, invoice, packing list and contract from the exporter (or freight forwarder).
VI. Customs Clearance Stage
The customs clearance procedures are extremely complicated and important. If the customs clearance cannot be carried out smoothly, the transaction cannot be completed.
All documents are complete (invoice, packing list and contract are required). Provide the documents to our company before the goods arrive at the port to arrange customs clearance procedures. In some ports (such as Nansha Port and Lianhuashan Port), copies can be received in advance to arrange document input, document matching and document sorting. Wait for the goods to arrive and declare to the customs. After declaring to the customs, if the goods have no special supervision, they can be released.
After the goods are declared to the customs, they will be examined and closed or the documents will be returned. If the documents are returned, find out the problems of the returned documents and re - declare. The customs declaration form will be examined and closed. After the customs declaration form is examined and closed, the customs duties, value - added tax and other taxes of the goods can be inquired in the single - window tax payment, and then print the customs tax notice to notify the customer to prepare to remit the taxes to our company's account. Our company will pay the taxes in the system.
Generally, after paying the taxes, notices such as customs inspection, destination inspection and customs release will appear. The customs inspection will be carried out at the port site. The destination inspection means that after the goods return to the unloading warehouse or the actual receiving address of the goods, contact the local customs to make an appointment for inspection. After the customs release, the goods can be towed away for sale.
VII. Settlement and Write - off Stage
After customs clearance, recover the single - ticket. In the case of customs declaration by the customs broker or freight forwarder, settle the fees and recover the customs declaration form, shipping notice and other documents for record - keeping.
Settle the fees with the customer, calculate the foreign exchange payment handling fees and other customs clearance miscellaneous fees clearly, and add the handling fees agreed in our company's agency agreement to generate a settlement bill.
After the customer settles the fees, our company will mail the tax payment receipt, customs declaration agency invoice, miscellaneous fee invoice, bank receipt and other materials to the customer, and keep a copy for ourselves at the same time.
Finally, cancel and write off the customs declaration form at the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
