What are the business models of import companies? How to act as an import product agent

Import business methods refer to the classification of the import industry from multiple perspectives such as foreign exchange income, profit and loss distribution, import-export relationships, and importing countries. 1. Self-operation

Enterprises can directly purchase goods from abroad and make payments, or they can entrust a customs declaration company to handle the customs clearance on their behalf. The importing company must pay in foreign currency and receive the special customs VAT letter for collection, comparison, and deduction, without needing to make payments to foreign suppliers.

2. Indirect agency declaration

After the import company directly signs a sales contract with the supplier and prepares import documents in the name of the import company, the import company signs a customs declaration entrustment agreement with a customs broker or another import company. The customs broker then acts on behalf of the customs company or other importers to declare to customs.

3. Import agency

Entrust an agent, make direct payments to the import agent, and have the agent arrange shipment from overseas suppliers. Import duties, VAT, and consumption tax are doubled, and the original recipient must declare VAT deductions.

4. Fake self-operation, real agency

In fact, the import industry does not have such a term. Based on acting as an import agent, after the agency imports, the customs VAT is directly deducted from the agent, and the agent issues goods invoices to the buyer. A reliable business is when the agent independently imports and sells products on behalf of the client, and from the client's perspective, the purchase is made from the agent.
